5/5/2007

It's been a busy week at the Power House in Baltimore, Maryland.

It started out Sunday with Morning Worship. While setting up, Danny hurt his back. He was in pain much of the rest of the week. During the service itself we continued our look at the concept of Resurrected Living. One of Vonceil's coworkers came for the first time.

We had a smaller group at SonRisers on Wednesday morning with around 60 kids. Though the group was small we had some new kids in it. They marked the 600th kid that's participated in at least one activity in the church since July. That evening the Adult Disciples group continued its study of the book of James.

After Adult Disciples I learned that Walter was in the hospital. I was able to get up to visit him on Thursday.

I spent a lot of time this week on camp forms. I got the basics filled in on the forms for most of the kids we're inviting. I had a slow start on getting parental signatures as I had a hard time catching people at home. As of this letter we have parental consent for 5 kids. I'm hoping to get a few more tomorrow and a bunch more throughout next week.

Friday night brought Pizza Church. We had good attendance and better behavior throughout the evening.

On Saturday Jenn, Tamara, Tim, and I attended Mission Center Conference in Dundalk. Afterward Tamara and Jenn hosted a youth worker training session.

Looking ahead to next week we'll have our regular schedule of activities. In addition, we have a business meeting on Sunday night for the consideration of priesthood calls for Jenn and Tamara. Afterward we'll have a potluck dinner. Next Saturday is our monthly Solid Rock Cafe.

Along with the individuals and activities mentioned, please keep the following individuals in the forefront of your prayers:

John
Kayla
Leslie
Pamela
Barry
Scott
O'Shea

Thank you for your continued prayer support.
