5/29/2005

It's been a busy week at the Power House in Baltimore, Maryland.

It started out Sunday with our three services. During Morning Worship we learned about
running life's race to win. The group at Kids' Church learned about living in community.
I knew we had lots of praise reports and prayer concerns so we skipped the devotions
during Evening Worship so we could address those things.

One of the pieces of good news came from Violet. The car wash they held last Saturday to
benefit Jerry's leukemia fund raised over $1300. This was from a combination of wash
revenues, sales of some items, and personal and corporate donations.

After hunting parent signatures throughout the week we now have 9 kids who have turned in
their completed camp forms. We're hoping to get quite a few more in this next week.

101 Kids participated in our SonRisers activities on Wednesday. That night at Adult
Disciples the group began their study of the Psalms. This will last for about three
weeks.

We had good sized groups throughout the night at Pizza Church. Each group learned about
next week's World Conference and had a time of prayer for the conference.

I filled the font on Saturday. We have one baptism scheduled for Kids' Church Sunday
afternoon.

With summer approaching comes lots of travel and an additional level of business to our
schedule. Because of this, THIS WEEK at the POWER HOUSE might be a little sporadic over
the next couple of months. Please especially keep us in your prayers the weeks you DON'T
get a report as that's an indicator of some of our more hectic times.

Looking ahead to next week we have our full schedule of activities. In addition, we have
a baptism during Kids' Church on Sunday. At different times during the week Jenn and I
will be traveling to Missouri to serve as delegates at World Conference. We'll also be
working hard at getting camp forms signed.

Along with the individuals and activities mentioned as well as continued progress on our
building project, please keep the following people in the forefront of your prayers:

Bernice
William
Samantha
Tayvia
Chester
Less
CJ
Joshua

Thank you for your continued prayer support.
